About Me
When people find me, they are usually struggling. I work with people facing anxiety, depression, ADHD, relationship struggles, parenting challenges, family transitions, and the kind of everyday stress that quietly builds until life feels unmanageable. Whatever brings you here, we'll figure it out together.

My approach is collaborative. I believe you're the expert on your own life, and my job is to help you reconnect with that wisdom. We'll explore what's getting in the way, build skills that actually work for your life, and move toward the kind of change that lasts.

I'm not here to hand you a checklist. I'm here to walk alongside you with compassion, curiosity, and genuine care as you work toward healing, stronger relationships, and a life that feels more like yours.

If you're feeling overwhelmed, stuck, or like you're just going through the motions, I want you to know that's exactly where many people are when we first connect. And it's okay. You don't need to have the right words or a clear plan. You just need to show up.

I have spent the last 15 years of my career cultivating a breadth of knowledge and experience so that I can serve my clients effectively. I began my career providing in-home therapy to high-need children and families, which included a focus in trauma, mood disorders, neurodivergence, and parent/caregiver support. Since then, I have had a clinic-based practice working with adults and children on an individual basis, as well as couples and family work. Because of my strong experiential background, working knowledge of therapeutic models, and effective client work, I also served as a supervisor for the last six years prior to opening Vital Roots. I worked closely with recent graduates to facilitate clinical and personal growth, as well as provide their mandatory supervision hours to become licensed.

My training and experience have taught me that the most effective way to help others is to consider the whole picture. This means exploring the client's whole experience moving through the world - what daily life is like, how the world responds, personal understanding, and all other facets that may impact each of us.

I genuinely love this work and appreciate the trust and connection that comes along with my profession. Throughout my years of practice, I have had the privilege of working with individuals from expansively diverse cultural, racial, and ethnic backgrounds. Whether I'm sitting with an individual navigating anxiety or self-doubt, a couple trying to find their way back to each other, or a family working through a difficult session. I strive to create a space for clients that is welcoming, judgment-free, and truly their own space to find resolution to whatever is problematic.

That's why I offer a free 15-minute initial consultation. It allows clients to decide if I am a good fit, and how we can collaborate towards lasting growth.

My Approach
I always seek to provide an open space for honest discussion on any topic that a client needs to discuss. I am not here to judge, and it would be hard to find a topic that I haven't already discussed in a therapeutic setting. In other words, you can't shock me.
No matter the topic, I am here to listen, to provide insights as a catalyst for self-reflection, positive change, and personal growth. The amount of change and growth depends on each client and their needs. I'm here to be on your team to help you meet your goals.

Marriage & Family Therapy Certificate
UW-Milwaukee
The Master of Social Work (MSW) training centered on assessing, diagnosing, and treating mental health conditions using a holistic approach referred to as the "person-in-environment" perspective. This includes attention to the interaction between an individual’s internal life and their external environment (social, economic, and cultural contexts). Treatment plans are individualized for each client, and utilize evidence-based practices, including Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT), trauma-informed care, solution focused therapy, and motivational interviewing.
